Film

I should be prepared to some deception when I first tried to get into the real photograph world - film! Please don`t get me wrong: I am really happy to have a chance to work with my analog camera - which was unused for a long time - because film gives us the truly photography essence.

What I love the most? The truly expectation of how the photos will be, the excitement of waiting for the revelation gets ready and even the sound of the roll when it ends. Well… everything is different and more exciting!

Problem: When we get used to digital camera for too long, it’s difficult to get sensibility to work with such precious cameras again. It’s not like if we could see the final result immediately and choose to "delete" the bad ones. :)

As I didn’t use the analog camera for a while, this "coming back" experience did not went well...

 I didn’t have opportunity to take too much photos because the roll dint have too many (for the most curious, the forgotten photos were from a friends weeding ^^) so the ones I think are okay, are not too many! I chose the best three to publish here, anyways. They were taken on the same day of my bike ride with Tiago. They are not edited.

Anyways... I will keep trying to make it better! I Hope you like it!

Dancing around the pit

Hi everyone! 

Today I gave the "cry of Ipiranga" and I left home for a bike ride after many rainy days. The photos bellow not only proves the stormy results but also looks like a promise of a new sick season (knocking on wood!!). ^^ Well, talking about good things... (ahahah) today I finished the roll film that I found in my analog camera - the same that I used in a few pictures with Vânia. As I said before, I don´t know how the results will come because the roll was forgotten inside camera for a long time, so it could be spoiled by now. Well, tomorrow my dad will leave it at lab so I hope to have news soon! :)

So... you must be wondering how I took these pictures today, since my digital camera is broken. My brother lent me his camera for the afternoon... well, I just don’t think he knows yet, but let just keep it between us! :) I don`t have too much variety to show you today because when I tried to cross some paths into the woods, I was surprised by the water from the river invading all that area. I think that me and Tiago - the pretty boy on the bike :) - just decided to end up splashing on the water to make our afternoon ride worth! J

 Curiosity about these pictures: they were all taken with water up to my knee, so I think now you understand my afraid about my health next days (knocking on wood, again!!) ^^

That's where she lies...

Meet Vânia! :)
She is a good friend of mine. We don`t know each other for a long time (well, actually we think we do, but we can´t remember from where... ^^) but we spend good time together, mostly times working at the musical in which we are both participating, but also in some karaoke nights (she is the one who understands my nervousness before performances :D).

Today it was just the two of us and the afternoon sun, between fields. It was a really funny day and we both spent good time together.

Today I am just publishing some of the photos I took. Well, consider it as the first part of this photo session. ^^

Roll film

Let me tell you something that I had never share before. There was always a photographic camera in my house since I can remember. It was present in my childhood, on special dates and on family and friends vacations. Plus, there was a long time during which my parents worked as commemorative events photographers, as weddings and christenings. So, I can assure you that sometimes my house remembers me a photographic museum, mainly because of the framed photos around and also due to the different cameras that we bought along the time.

Today I found that two of our analog cameras still have films inside. They just have 5 and 6 photos to take each one, but nobody knows since when they are there. So... big news: I will be using film at some of my next photo-shoots, and I will start doing it tomorrow with the friend that I told you about. I just hope that film is still good. Well... we will see. :))

I am really excited to try some new ideas tomorrow, and I hope to have some news by the end of the day! =D
